Setup Instructions
blinds:
Measure again before purchasing. Here is the link to their measuring guide with detailed info: https://www.blindsgalore.com/measuring
They are having a 30% off sale until 11/2. They typically have some type of sale running.
You can also add either a privacy liner or blackout liner to the back of the shades for added light filtering.
curtains:
I’ve added curtain rings so you can hang the curtain rod slightly higher (approx. 86-87” from the floor). Hang so that the curtains just barely touch the floor.
I put 2 curtain panels on the shopping list. This would be just for decorative purposes to hang on each side of the window. If you want to close the curtains or just want a fuller look, I would go with 4 panels. Would also need to get 4 sets of curtain clips if you go with 4 curtain panels.
light fixture:
If you decide to incorporate the light fixture, I would use one of the 6” rods to hang it. This would put it at about the hanging height of a ceiling fan. Hang centered over cocktail ottoman & centered with fireplace.
mirror above cabinet:
Hang centered over the cabinet approx. 8-9” from the bottom of the mirror to the top of the cabinet.
rug:
The rug is a flat weave rug, so I’ve added a plush rug pad to place underneath for a bit of cushion underfoot.
